Easter Eggs and Foe-Foes

Here, Faith is coloring her eggs with crayon before they are dyed.

Here, she is putting the dye tablets in the water.

Now she's stirring the coloring to make sure it's dissolved.

Then she carefully puts an egg in.

Hey! This is kind of fun!

And, finally, here Faith is helping Mommy clean pick dye out of the carpet.

Somewhere between the last two pictures, Faith lost her balance on the chair, fell over, and knocked the pink bowl of dye onto the floor. Who carpets a kitchen/dining room anyway? Thankfully, I got it all out. You can kind of see how much got on her pants, and let me tell you, her socks were bright pink.

In addition to all the Easter egg fun, the time has come for Faith to give up her pacifiers. When she started to talk, she called them "foe-foes" and the name just stuck. I cut the tips off of them, and told her they were broken, so she threw them in the trash. Knock on wood, but she's hasn't been sleeping all that badly at night. However, she has yet to take a nap. One battle at a time...
