Sunday was Father's Day, and after church, we decided to head down to Potawatomi Zoo in South Bend. As we were driving, I told Jeff that it felt weird that it didn't feel weird driving around town again. He didn't really get that.
Faith and Daddy at the zoo.
Brushing a goat, with very little fear this year!
Faith and Mommy by the tiger
After the zoo, we drove by our old house. Not much has changed, but the new owner did redo the garage. If we were still living in South Bend, this is the summer that I would really appreciate our house's location - within walking distance of the library, pool, three different parks, and the zoo. Oh, how a 3 year old would love that!
We hit Hacienda for dinner. We had been craving it for a few weeks now. Of course, it never lives up to your memory.
Faith with her first Hacienda chip. Faith's response to one of our favorite restaurants: "The chips don't taste good without the white dip". Their ranch is what makes it so good.
Our next stop was Juday Creek golf course. Jeff wanted to just stop in and say hi, but we were offered a round of golf on the house. Jeff figured Faith would make it through about four holes, but she completed all nine!
Putting with Daddy
Getting pretty good!
But her favorite part was riding the in the golf cart....
